　『UFC 228: Woodley vs. Till』でヴァレンティーナ・シェフチェンコを相手に女子フライ級王座防衛戦を行う予定だったニコ・モンターニョが病院に搬送されたとのこと。シェフチェンコ戦が行わるかどうか微妙な状況になったそうです。

Nicco Montaño will not fight at UFC 228 tomorrow, after being hospitalized this morning. Valentina Shevchenko just made weight in Dallas, but I’m told the co-main event is off.

　その後ESPNのブレット・オカモト記者がニコ・モンターニョが『UFC 228』を欠場することを確認したとコメント。

Multiple sources saying that Montaño is off the card. Still holding out hope that Shevchenko will remain but it is a long shot at this point.
